The Center for the Digital Arts Gallery has been in existence since 1994 and is dedicated to fostering arts and arts technology education to the community. Located in the downtown artist community of the City of Peekskill the gallery offers professional artists one-person shows twice per year. The gallery supports a wide spectrum of arts practices with a special focus on studio practices that integrate technology and/or reflect the impact of technology in the 21st Century. The gallery also hosts exhibitions by community collectives and organizations, students, and faculty.
The Center for the Digital Arts Gallery is a part of the Peekskill Extension of SUNY Westchester and has been curated by Dr. Sherry Mayo since 2016. She is the current Director of the center, a teaching faculty member of the School of Visual Arts, Art Education Department, and a practicing artist.
